The Beatles are considered the most successful and influential music band of the 20th century. English music producer and musician Sir George Martin, sometimes referred to as the “fifth Beatle”, has worked with this exceptional band since the early 60’s to create the “Beatles sound”, which played a major role in the meteoric success the band had then and still enjoys today.

Together with his son Giles, Sir George recently produced the new “Love” record at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, the original site of some of the Beatles most famous productions. Highly anticipated and critically acclaimed, the album contains 26 pieces by the Beatles featuring completely remixed versions of older recordings and even a new string track on “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”. The result is a totally new listening experience of well-known songs meticulously recreated utilizing the modern recording and mixing technologies of the 21st century.

The most crucial tool for the sound engineer is the loudspeaker. As the last link between technology and the ear, they are the means by which every sound is recorded, evaluated, fine tuned, and placed in the mix. For this task, Sir George Martin and his son Giles chose ADAM Audio S3A professional studio monitors, saying “They’re the best cross between nearfield and big studio
speakers.” High praise indeed…
