D3V comes equipped to help you get set up in no time. Detachable feet are included as standard, providing an out of the box setup solution, plus users will find a 3/8” mic stand mounting point on the underside.
Correct placement can have as much impact as choosing the right speakers! Every studio, room or listening environment is different, therefore a good studio monitor should help support the widest possible range of speaker positions.
As a first line of approach, D3V comes complete with detachable monitor feet that are angled at 15° toward the users’ ears. This enables a simple means of aligning the speakers from desk height with the listeners ears. In addition to this, EPDM acoustic isolation pads provide good mechanical isolation and reduce resonance transmission to the desk, helping users to hear what’s actually going on in the track while preventing the monitors from slipping on the desk.
Additionally, there is a standard threaded 3/8” hole for microphone stand mounting on the underside of both monitors. Leveraging the D3V’s lightweight build, the plethora of hardware for this purpose means that users can increase the range of positions across all three spatial axes.
